Slough Muslim College is dedicated to offering the local community comprehensive Islamic education, grounded in the principles of the Qur'an and Sunnah. Our goal is to create an environment where students not only gain a deep understanding of Islam but also develop genuine love for their faith and apply their knowledge to their daily lives.

At Slough Muslim College, we stress the importance of connecting with the Qur'an and Sunnah in order to stay on the straight path and avoid Shaytaan's misguidance.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“I leave behind me two things: the Qur'an and my Sunnah, and if you hold onto these, you will never go astray.”
(Muwatta Malik, Hadith 1628)

At Slough Muslim College, we offer a holistic curriculum rooted in the traditional Dars-e-Nizami  framework. We are committed to teaching the traditional Islamic Sciences in a clear, practical, and meaningful way. Our focus is on ensuring that students understand different subjects in the both their historical context and the relevance they have to contemporary life. Some of the subject we will be covering:

• Tafsir (Qur’anic Exegesis): Delving into the profound meanings and interpretations of the Qur'an.
• Hadith (Prophetic Teachings): Studying the words, actions, habits, and preferences of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
• Arabic Language and Grammar: Equipping students with the skills to engage with the Qur'an and classical Islamic texts.
• Jurisprudence (Fiqh): Understanding and applying Islamic rulings.
• Spoken Arabic: Developing fluency in modern conversational Arabic for communication.
• Seerah: Gaining insight and lessons from the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Noble Companions, their sacrifices, and their legacy.

At Slough Muslim College, we are a team of dedicated Ulama and Imams from Slough and the surrounding areas, united by a shared purpose and passion. We are devoted to shaping the next generation of Muslim scholars and leaders. Currently we are based at Blackbeard Academy where we have a dedicated area for lessons, lecutures and Salah.
